Wonhundred

Wonhundred is a Danish fashion brand with a strong image and identity was founded in 2004 by Nikolaj Nielsen and Pernille Schwarz.

“Our mission is to create a beautiful clothing line for an enthusiastic and multifaceted youth with a wide scope of interest in a price range that is affordable” says Pernille Schwarz head of design.

This Autumn/Winter Won hundred celebrates the late 70´s and early 80`s, a period of champions and decadence. It is an acknowledgement to the productive and genuine people who allowed themselves to be pioneers and wanted to leave their obvious stamp on the posterity no matter the consequences.

Imagine the likes of an adrenaline pumped Keith Moon, dressed in a black cropped tuxedo jacket facing an ever confident Pete Townsend in a mandarin collar shirt raising his Fender guitar just before exploding into the last chorus of “My Generation”. A self conscious Deborah Harry calming down after a show with a cigarette and a cup of coffee casually dressed in an a-shaped wool jacket, long silk shirt and tight jeans. Contrasts collide and the androgynous meets the expressive while heavy fabrics clash with the delicate.

With main reference to the era’s versatile and complex youth of New York, and UK`s glamorous and frantic track atmosphere Won hundred has produced a full range collection with the characteristics of classical tailoring and oversized sportswear elements accentuated on shirts, knitwear and jeans.
Available now exclusively at Billet Doux.
